         ColicStop is designed to treat the most common causes of horse colic.  These include gas colic, impaction or constipation colic, and spasmodic colic.  It is not designed to cure any type of twisted intestine, including torsion, herniation or adhesion, or a significant mechanical obstruction like sand colic.  These less common types of colic usually require veterinary intervention. In the unfortunate event of these types of colic, we will still honor our guarantee to you.   While we have a ‘no questions asked’ guarantee, which means we will not hassle you or delay your refund, we do ask that you read the administration instructions fully and make sure all the medication actually got into your horse, before asking for a refund!
    In addition, for your horse’s health and safety, we want you to know that several other types of illness in horses produce symptoms that are similar to colic symptoms, including but not limited to:  impending foaling, liver disease, 'tying up’, intestinal diseases, ulcers, peritonitis, urinary tract or uterine infections, kidney stones.  ColicStop is not designed for those conditions, and our money back guarantee does not cover them.  Please be reasonably sure that your horse actually had intestinal colic before asking for a refund for ColicStop, since that is what it is designed to treat!
